Resumen

In the maternal-infant context, high-risk pregnancies are among those that present a clinical condition with higher chances of unfavorable outcomes for the life of the mother, fetus or newborn, considering the intercurrences that this group is susceptible to experience. By observing the health care needs of high-risk pregnant women, considering the high maternal mortality rate in Brazil and the existence of knowledge gaps regarding the care trajectory of these pregnant women, the interest in developing the present study emerged. This is part of the problem related to the trajectory of prenatal care of high-risk pregnant women, given the difficulties encountered in the path taken from primary care to the referral hospital for delivery and birth. The present study aims to identify the care trajectory of high-risk pregnant women, considering the quality of prenatal care and flow indicators in specialized reference services. This is a cross-sectional epidemiological study with a quantitative approach. The sample consisted of 138 postpartum women hospitalized at CISAM. A semi-structured script elaborated by the investigators of the study was carried out, which addressed variables related to the socioeconomic and clinical-obstetric profiles of women and indicators of quality of prenatal care according to the parameters of the Prenatal and Birth Humanization Program (PNH). It was observed that although most of the interviewees had a situation within the normal range, attention should also reside in the opposite conditions. Conclusion: The relevance of the quality of prenatal care to obtain favorable outcomes for the mother/newborn is highlighted. And the role of nursing is indispensable in the gestational care trajectory.
