Esg and supply chain management: A review systematics

The term ESG - Environmental, Social and Governance has been the subject of numerous debates and studies during the last few years, in the academic, business and government worlds. ESG is characterized as a set of criteria by organizations and stakeholders to assess the performance and responsibility of companies in relation to these three pillars. Supply chain management, also known as Supply Chain Management (SCM), is a strategic approach to planning, controlling, and improving the flow of products, services, and information throughout the supply chain. Studies on these themes are broad, but there is a lack of investigation focused on identifying what is being studied considering the two themes together. In this context, the present study aimed to analyze the characteristics of ESG research in supply chains? To achieve this objective, a systematic review was carried out based on article searches in the Scopus, Web of Science, Science Direct and Scopus databases, 21 articles containing the theme "Supply Chain Management" and "ESG" were selected. The main results showed that it is necessary for the integration of ESG and supply chain principles to be managed and analyzed together to generate a better result.
